{"id":12694,"date":"2025-12-20T11:14:40","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T10:14:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mindef.gov.cm\/?p=12694"},"modified":"2025-12-20T11:18:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T10:18:17","slug":"solidarity-gesture-by-emia-41st-batch-to-the-invalid-war-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mindef.gov.cm\/en\/blog\/solidarity-gesture-by-emia-41st-batch-to-the-invalid-war-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"SOLIDARITY GESTURE BY EMIA 41ST BATCH TO THE INVALID WAR VICTIMS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ceremony that saw the presence of the Commander of the First Region Military Hospital, Colonel Ahmadou was the occasion for the military doctor to appreciate the cadet officers for their thought of extending a hand to their comrades, enjoining them to other activities that will foster solidarity among the defence forces and their colleagues who are victims of different traumas from the battle field.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12678\" src=\"https:\/\/mindef.gov.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/41\u1d49-Promotion-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u2018The presence of the 41st batch of EMIA in the Military Complex for the Invalid is a gesture of solidarity, fraternity and generosity that the cadet officers of the 41st batch thought to carry out in favour of their brothers and comrades in arms who were wounded at the war front\u2019 said Lieutenant Colonel MBOLE ASSE Alphonse Cyrille Commander of the Probationary year training Division of EMIA, representing the Commander of the Combined Services Military Academy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12686\" src=\"https:\/\/mindef.gov.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/41\u1d49-Promotion-4-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Among the gifts handed were physical therapy and fitness equipment, gym balls, carpets, cleaning material and bedsheets.<\/p>\n<p>Cadet officers of the Combined Services Military academy are noted for acts of generosity, which usually fall within activities marking the end of their training program. The same goes for the EMIA officers of the 36th batch, who handed gifts to children of fallen comrades of their batch last week while commemorating their 10th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><img
