BETI ASSOMO Joseph<\/b> a assist\u00e9 dans la salle des actes de son d\u00e9partement minist\u00e9riel en compagnie de ses invit\u00e9s sp\u00e9ciaux, &nbsp; de ses plus proches collaborateurs, du personnel civil et militaire, \u00e0 la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration eucharistique, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du Mercredi des Cendres, le 22 f\u00e9vrier 2023. Au regard des contraintes professionnelles dont fait l\u2019objet le personnel du Minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9 opportun d\u2019organiser cette activit\u00e9 dans cette enceinte pour permettre aux chr\u00e9tiens catholiques d\u2019y assister.<\/p>\r\n<p>La messe a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e par l\u2019Abb\u00e9 NDJOUGA Dieudonn\u00e9, qui dans l\u2019\u00e9vangile de ce jour, a choisi un passage de saint Matthieu, chapitre 6, versets 1 \u00e0 6 et 16 \u00e0 18.&nbsp; Il incite les fid\u00e8les \u00e0 prier et agir, non pas de mani\u00e8re orgueilleuse et ostentatoire, mais dans le secret de leur c\u0153ur : \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Quand tu fais l\u2019aum\u00f4ne, que ta main gauche ignore ce que te donne ta main droite, afin que ton aum\u00f4ne reste dans le secret ; ton P\u00e8re voit ce que tu fais en secret. Quand tu pries, retire-toi au fond de ta maison, ferme la porte, et prie ton P\u00e8re qui est pr\u00e9sent dans le secret.<\/em> <em>Quand tu je\u00fbnes, parfume-toi la t\u00eate et lave-toi le visage ; ainsi ton&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/eglise.catholique.fr\/glossaire\/jeune\"><em>je\u00fbne<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;ne sera pas connu des hommes, mais seulement du P\u00e8re qui est pr\u00e9sent dans le secret&nbsp;\u00bb<strong>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p>Le Mercredi des Cendres marque le premier jour du Car\u00eame par l\u2019imposition des cendres. Le pr\u00eatre d\u00e9pose par le signe de la croix un peu de cendres sur le front de chaque fid\u00e8le, symbole de la p\u00e9nitence de l\u2019homme, mais aussi de l\u2019esp\u00e9rance en la mis\u00e9ricorde. La Cendre est appliqu\u00e9e sur le front pour nous appeler plus clairement encore \u00e0 la conversion, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment par le chemin de l\u2019humilit\u00e9.
