Au cours de celle-ci, les 34 pays participants dont le Cameroun, se sont retrouv\u00e9s pour une restitution finale th\u00e9orique de cet exercice dont la mission principale assign\u00e9e aux Forces des pays d\u2019Afrique et du Moyen-Orient \u00e9tait la s\u00e9curisation par des m\u00e9thodes techniques modernes d\u2019une zone urbaine prise pour cible par des terroristes lourdement arm\u00e9s, s\u2019\u00e9tant pris \u00e0 des populations.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de cl\u00f4ture, les organisateurs ont exprim\u00e9 satisfaction et remerciements \u00e0 tous les participants qui ont montr\u00e9 bonne volont\u00e9 et disponibilit\u00e9 tout au long de l\u2019exercice. Un accent \u00e0 cette \u00e9dition a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur les m\u00e9thodes et techniques modernes de lutte contre le terrorisme, la lutte anti drones intrusifs, cybercriminalit\u00e9, sant\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Durant l\u2019exercice conjoint en grandeur nature au village Talt Al-Keif de la Base Militaire Mohamed Naguib, le Cameroun a fourni 26 agents sp\u00e9ciaux et 2 chuteurs op\u00e9rationnels, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des 33 autres Nations, qui ont men\u00e9 des man\u0153uvres a\u00e9roterrestres dynamiques et coordonn\u00e9es, dans le but de neutraliser des cibles de haute valeur et lib\u00e9rer des otages.<\/p>\n<p>En marge de l\u2019exercice qui a d\u00e9finitivement ferm\u00e9 ses portes le jeudi 14 septembre 2023, les officiels du d\u00e9tachement de l\u2019\u00c9tat-Major camerounais en Egypte ayant particip\u00e9 aux forums et s\u00e9minaires sur divers domaines, ont restitu\u00e9 les travaux le 13 septembre et re\u00e7u des attestations de participation.<\/p>\n<p>Les Forces Sp\u00e9ciales et les \u00e9l\u00e9ments du Bataillon des Troupes A\u00e9roport\u00e9es de Koutaba, qui constituaient la composante camerounaise \u00e0 cet exercice militaire multinationale et multidimensionnel, sont d\u00e9sormais mieux outill\u00e9s dans la lutte contre les nouvelles menaces \u00e0 la paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Le niveau physique et technique ainsi que la discipline des personnels des FSC et ceux du BTAP, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s largement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s par les moniteurs internationaux.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019exercice Bright Star en plus de la plate-forme d\u2019\u00e9changes qu\u2019il offre, vise \u00e0 renforcer les capacit\u00e9s conjointes pour faire face aux d\u00e9fis s\u00e9curitaires actuels, mais davantage unifier les concepts militaires entre les Arm\u00e9es des pays participants suivant les principes de l\u2019interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><img
