For this traditional event within the Armed Forces, the representative of the Chief of Staff was flanked by officers, petty officers, leading ratings and seamen of the Headquarters.

Accompanied by a detachment from the Main Army Band, the ceremony was full of glamour and solemnity, to the delight of the many families who came for the occasion.

It ended with a group photograph at the foot of the Navy monument, giving way to the euphoria of those promoted and their loved ones.
