It was revealed during the celebration that, Brigadier General Pelene Francois, who is the General Coordinator of the Rapid Intervention Battalion is of the 29th batch of the Combined Services Military Academy (EMIA).
Speaking during the solemn event the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of Defence saluted the laureate for his promotion to the rank of Brigadier General, while at the same time enjoining him to double his effort as his present position warrants a lot of dedication and professionalism.
