The coffing and religious service of Major General Phillip Mpay took place at the Yaounde General Hospital mortuary on July 30, 2026 in a solemn ceremony attended by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence who represented the Head of State, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, senior military officers, government officials, family members and close associates.
