This event will welcome companies from Cameroon, Africa and the world that exhibit and promote their knowhow ; international groups that wish to position themselves as major players in their field ; regional and international organizations that represent and accompany the innovations of their members ; financial organizations that are looking for companies with high growth potential ; and official and private institutions and regulatory agencies that explain their role.
The Ministry of Defense just like the previous years answered present to this grandiose rendezvous and opened it’s doors to the public who were eager to know more about the work of arms.
As from February 19, 2024, many military equipment and gadgets such as drones, law enforcement equipment, firearms, military boats, military bikes, a signals and transmission car, just to name these few were put on display for the viewing and touching pleasure of the visitors who flocked into the makeshift structures of the Ministry of Defence. Regarding their worries, they could gather first hand information from the National Gendarmerie, the Infantry, the Air force, the Navy, the various Departments and Divisions of the Ministry of Defence, the Military Engineering Corps, not forgetting the elite corps such as the Army Reconnaissance Battailon. The visitors were visibly happy to be able to touch and manipulate all sorts of military equipment with the help and guidance of the defence personnel.
The participation of the Ministry of Defence in this exhibition faire called PROMOTE is an opportunity to reaffirm the Army and Nation bond which is of utmost importance to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Paul Biya.
