“Celebration of the 52nd national day of the unity of Cameroon at the Naval War school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil”
On the occasion of Cameroon's National Day of Unity on 20 May 2024, the Naval War College in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

commemorated this event in honour of Lieutenant-Commander BINDANG NGUEMA Aurélien, a Cameroonian trainee in the class of 2024 at this prestigious institution.

This grandiose ceremony, which brought together all the officers and trainees, was an opportunity for its Director to salute the close links of ‘active’ cooperation between our two countries, and to recall the bravery of the Cameroon Navy during the SEA LIONS mission, crossing the Atlantic Ocean over 4200 nautical miles (around 8000 km) to take part in the bicentenary of the Brazilian Navy, coupled with the UNITAS exercise of the major naval powers in 2022.
