“ Securing the Limbé coastline ”
Acting as part of their regalian missions to secure the maritime façade of their areas of responsibility,

patrols from the Limbé Naval Base and the SONARA Special Protection Company boarded two pirogues from a neighbouring country on 12 and 13 June 2024 respectively, carrying a combined cargo of approximately 5,7500 litres of smuggled fuel.

The 10 members of the two crews, all without identity papers, as well as their cargoes, were taken to the Commander of the Naval Base here, for the usual due diligence with the competent authorities.
