“ Zonal planning conference for the Grand African Nemo Maritime Security Exercice (GANO 2024)”
The Multinational Coordination Centre Zone D hosted the Zonal Planning Conference for the maritime security exercise "GANO 2024" in Douala from September 11 to 12, 2024.

The conference was attended by focal point officers from the navies of the respective zone.

The zonal scenario, scheduled for November 8 to 11, 2024, will involve the participation of coastal naval forces and the components of the Yaoundé Architecture, focusing on themes such as combating illegal fishing, maritime piracy, and search and rescue operations at sea.
