Commando training for Petty Officers from the 2022 contingent at the Compagnie des Palmeurs de Combat
Marine officers from the 2022 contingent newly assigned to the Forces de Fusiliers Marins et de Palmeurs de Combat (FORFUMAPCO) underwent commando training at the Compagnie des Palmeurs de Combat (COPALCO), from 2 September to 12 October 2024.

The aim of this training was to provide them with the tactical and technical know-how essential to commando maritime operations.

The training ended with a summary exercise under the supervision of Capitaine de Frégate ANDOULO, Chief of Staff of FORFUMAPCO, representing the Commander of FORFUMAPCO. The aim of this exercise was to validate the operational skills acquired, particularly in nautical combat, on-board combat, target neutralisation and hostage rescue in a hostile environment.
