Participation of the Cameroon Navy in the mock trial organised by the united nations office on drugs and crime
The Cameroon Navy took part from 11 to 14 November 2024 in Douala in a mock trial organised under the aegis of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on a scenario involving maritime piracy and arms trafficking.

This activity, which took place as part of the Grand African Nemo 2024 multinational exercise organised by France for the benefit of Gulf of Guinea Navies, enabled the Cameroon Navy’s Judicial Police Officers with special jurisdiction to implement the procedure for gathering evidence at sea, and the other players involved to test the entire judicial chain involved in such circumstances.
