MULTINATIONAL EXERCISE OBANGAME EXPRESS 2026: CAMEROON LEADS THE WAY

The Douala Naval Base (BAND) hosted, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, the opening ceremony of the multinational maritime exercise OBANGAME EXPRESS 2026. The event was attended by Vice – Admiral Jean MENDOUA, Chief of Naval Staff, representing the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense for the Cameroonian side, and Mr. John Robinson, Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Cameroon, for the American side.

Le Contre-Amiral ADE NKWENTI Hilary, Major Général de la Marine, représentant le Vice-Amiral MENDOUA Jean, Chef d’État-Major de la Marine, a reçu en audience le Général de Division SAIDU TANKO AUDU, Commandant de la Force Multinationale Mixte (COMFMM/CBLT), accompagné du Général de Brigade CHEMBOU, Commandant du 1er Secteur de la FMM/CBLT, dont le poste de commandement est situé à Mora, dans la région de l’Extrême-Nord.

CLAP DE FIN DU 6ᵉ STAGE D’APPLICATION DES OFFICIERS DE LA MARINE (SAOM).

Le mardi 7 avril 2026 s’est déroulée, sous la présidence du Colonel Chef d’Etat-Major du Commandement des Ecoles et Centres d’Instruction Interarmées (COMECIIA), représentant le Général de Division COMECIIA, en présence du Capitaine de Vaisseau, Sous-Chef d’Etat-Major chargé des Ressources Humaines, représentant le Vice-Amiral, Chef d’Etat-Major de la Marine, la cérémonie de clôture du 6ᵉ SAOM, dans la salle multifonctions de la Base navale de Douala.
