“Fight against illicit fuel trafficking”
Acting as part of the security of the Economic and Exclusive Zone, the Coastal Patrol Vessel CNS LA BENOUÉ of the French Navy boarded on March 1 and 4, 2024, 02 boats from a neighboring country, carrying respectively 25310 Liters and 76800 Liters of smuggled fuel.

The 17 members of the 02 crews, all without identity documents, as well as their cargoes of about 102,000 Liters were placed at the disposal of the Commander of the Naval Base of Limbe, for the usual diligence with the competent authorities.
