‘Fight against illicit fuel trafficking
Acting to secure the approaches to the LIMBE coastline,

a patrol from the Ceans Naval Base boarded a pirogue from a neighbouring country on 25 April 2024, carrying around 27,000 litres of smuggled fuel and 09 crew members, all of whom had no identity papers.

The offenders and their cargo were presented to the local authorities for the usual due diligence.
