CHINA-CAMEROON MARITIME COOPERATION : HUMANITARIAN MISSION OF THE HOSPITAL SHIP PEACE ARK IN CAMEROON
The Chinese hospital ship PEACE ARK made a humanitarian stopover at the Autonomous Port of Douala from 7 to 14 October 2024.

In addition to providing free medical care to the general public, this health mission allowed the two navies to train together during a tactical maneuvers exercise at sea on 6 October 2024.

It also allowed them to further strengthen ties during a quayside visit to the Cameroonian patrol boat CNS LA SANAGA, built in China and participated in the first Ocean Crossing of the Cameroonian Navy in 2022 to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
