The MINDEF website showcased at the JPO 2024
As part of the Defence Open Days held from 17 to 19 May 2024 at Air Base 101, the General Secretariat's Organisation and Methods Unit showcased the Ministry of Defence's website.

The launch of this digital platform in November 2023 is part of the necessary digital transformation of administrations, with a view to improving the public service provided to users of the Ministry of Defence.

The Ministry of Defence website provides Ministry of Defence users with reliable and authentic public information in real time, as well as offering online services.

It can be accessed from a PC, tablet or smartphone via the link www.mindef.gov.cm

This link provides access to a Portal from which Internet users can be redirected to one of the eight sub-sites that make up its architecture. In short, the MINDEF website is nine sites in one:

  • A portal providing global news from the Ministry of Defence and presenting the activities over which MINDEF presides;
  • Eight sub-sites dealing with news and specific activities within each of the main branches of the Ministry of Defence, namely: the National Gendarmerie, the Ex-Servicemen and War victims, the Defence Headquaters,  the  General Secretariat, the Army, the Air Force, the Cameroon Navy and the National Fire Brigade.
