BIOGRAPHY
Born on April 15, 1968 in Ngaoundéré (Adamawa Region), Mr. Saïd KAMSOULOUM graduated from the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) in 2001. He has been among other, a Research Officer at the Department of Administrative and Regulatory Affairs of MINDEF, then Technical Adviser No.2 from 29 June 2007 to 22 December 2015, the date of his appointment as Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence.
Missions
The Secretary General, a senior official appointed by decree of the President of the Republic. He shall coordinate the activities of the various administrative services of the Ministry placed under his authority.
To this end he shall:
- under the authority of the Minister, follow up the processing of files in the Ministry ;
- ensure that files are processed wihin the time-limits prescribed by the Minister or by himself;
- under the same conditions, ensure the implementation of measures taken by the Minister and in this connection, he shall receives delegation of signature ;
- be directly responsible for definition and codification of the internal procedure of the Ministry and the material organisation of services; to that end, he shall establish direct links with the Administrative Reform services.
