The event provided a fantastic opportunity for Cameroon to display its rich culture, with a stunning showcase of made in Cameroon products and artifacts, traditional dancing and a food stand that offered a taste of the country’s delicious cuisine. This cultural exchange was not only a celebration of diversity but also a chance for Cameroon to strengthen its cultural, military and diplomatic ties with the UK and other participating countries.
Major General Peter Rowel l MBE, Commander of the Defence Academy, presided over the event, which brought together military authorities, family, friends, and community members of Oxfordshire.
The strong delegation from Cameroon in the United Kingdom was led by Navy Captain TATASON VIKRAM BABA, Defence Adviser and Deputy Defence Adviser Colonel OWONO MENGUE JUDITH who ensured that Cameroon’s presence was felt at the event.
