In the presence of university professors, academicians, military authorities and friends, Lieutenant-Colonel Nkoa Jean Christophe, Chief of service for the preparation budget at the Directorate of Budget Equipment, shared his insights on the transformation of cyberspace into a true operational theatre of war, highlighting the significance of cybersecurity in the fight against insurgency and terrorist threats. The 303 pages book stands out for its focus on the influence of informational cyber threats posed by groups such as; Boko-Haram and Separatist which carry out actions against defence forces in the Far-North, North-West and South-West Regions of Cameroon. Thus, cyberspace has become an essential epistemic framework in contemporary strategic studies.

The author contributes to the plurality of scientific objects by demonstrating the role of cyberspace in propaganda, funding, ideology dissemination, terror exaltation, and the recruitment of insurgents and terrorist groups in Cameroon. He also emphasis that these groups utilizes the internet to discredit defence forces in theatres of operation seeking to gain numerical and operational superiority. Still in this vein, Lieutenant-Colonel Nkoa Jean Christophe expands the spatial dimensions of the state, arguing that cyberspace offers considerable opportunities for actors of insecurity to influence the operational theatre and reserve the balance of power. His analysis indicates that the actions of cyber threats are a source of instability in a security environment, compromising defence and security operations.
