The occasion that was presided over by the Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Ivaha Diboua, personal representative of the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Beti Assomo Joseph, acknowledged the presence of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Cameroon, Wang Yingwu, the Chinese military attaché, Senior Colonel Lu Jipeng for the one-week humanitarian health mission in Cameroon.
The Commander of the Mission, Rear Admiral Ying Hongbo and Commander of the Ship, Rear Admiral He Yongming led Governor Samuel Ivaha Diboua and guests into the ship where they discovered the various logistical medical platforms ready for the registered patients to take effect a day after the opening ceremony.
From October 7 to 14, the team of over 100 medical personnel will attend to patients in the domains of cardiovascular medicine, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, pediatrics, dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine and a lot more.
