The Commander of Military Schools and Training Centres, Major General Phillipe Mpay on December 18, 2024, presided over the graduation ceremony of four badges of different specialties of 1046 trainees of the Presidential Guard training Center in Minkama.

Received at the centre and later led to the Audacious Hall by the Commander of the Presidential Guard, Colonel Beko’o Abondo Raymond Jean Charles, the Major General, COMECIIA took part in the deliberation of the results presented by the Commander of the training centre, Lieutenant Colonel Embolo Embele Francis Degrando.

He gave the various characteristics of the training programs with emphasis on the Stage one training of 681 elite commandos in a program that lasted eleven months from February 2024. The objectives being the transformation of these men who were received with no notions of the military life, now elite commandos after intellectual and practical lessons in and out of the classroom.

He later proceeded with refresher courses consisting of the 20th Stage three, the 22nd Stage two, and finally the 8th Stage one music training modules partitioned into preliminary tests and final exams giving them capacities that hence propel them into different roles and functions within the presidential guard.

In an impressive population turnout, well-wishes and the authorities of Minkama, witnessed the proclamation of results and handing of gifts to the three best candidates of each program, handed over to them by the cross section of the military and civilian authorities present at the esplanade of the training school.

As an exhibition of the results of part of their training the Stage one music band performed before the Major General, while the troop marched past.
