The celebration was attended by a cross section of dignitaries amongst which were the Cameroon Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, the Representative of the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Cameroon Defence Adviser to the People’s Republic of China.

Closely followed after the chanting of the national anthem of both countries, the Ambassador of Cameroon to the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. MPANA, in his address lauded the vigor of China-Cameroon cooperation which is evident with the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) wherein the two Heads of State, His Excellencies, Paul BIYA and Xi JINPING reinforced the long existing bilateral cooperation.

The representative to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China resounded the sentiment, congratulating the two Heads of State for their devotedness during the summit that took place in Beijing, China, in September 2024.

Before the Honorary Banquet hosted by the Cameroon Embassy in the People’s Republic of China, a gift was handed to Colonel AVOM NANG Jean Jacques, Cameroon’s Defense Adviser to the People’s Republic of China and Dean of the Corps of Military Defense Advisers, by the representative of the Chinese Minister of Defense, acknowledging his constant and valuable contribution to the leadership.
