CHRISTMAS TREE CELEBRATION: ONACAM BRINGS JOY TO CHILDREN OF FALLEN HEROES!
The National Office of Veterans, Ex-servicemen and War Victims of Cameroon (ONACAM) hosted the 2nd edition of its Christmas Tree Celebration for orphans of military personnel at its Warda office Hall, ‘Maison du Combatant’, Yaounde, on December 19, 2025. The heartwarming event, themed “A Christmas for joy and hope for orphans”, brought together children aged 3 to16 for a day of fun, gifts, and solidarity.

Under the leadership of ONACAM Director General, Retired Colonel Alfred Fuller, the ceremony aimed to support vulnerable children of Veterans, Ex-servicemen, War Victims, Widows, and retired Defence Forces personnel. The little ones enjoyed dance competitions, chair games, and received festive gifts from dignitaries.

In his address, Colonel Fuller emphasized the spirit of sharing and love, saying, “The Christmas Tree we celebrate today is a manifestation of love, conviviality, and sharing among us. This day gives us the opportunity to spend unforgettable moments with our dear ones, especially our children whom, on one fateful day, became orphans.”

The event was made possible by the support of Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence, Galax Yves ETOGA LANDRY, ONACAM partners, and sponsors like SCODIS Association and Boissons du Cameroun.
