Drawing his inspiration from the 1992 book written by the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Paul Biya, ‘‘Libéralisme Communautaire’’, the Colonel strikes on the role that corruption plays intercontinentally, likening it to a great threat that hails from internal factors hence a negative security impact on the African continent.
He used the fight against corruption in a country as China to be one of the many factors that has been instrumental in the economic stability of the Asian country.
The Colonel, Emile Joel BAMKOUI stressed on the interest-related favours given to most of our economies by western powers which in most cases leave our states in wanting conditions as they struggle to come out of the exigences that come with the aid. He is sure that in summits like that of the just passed CEMAC heads of State in Yaounde, African leaders are on the alert as they seek ways to guarantee their freedom and autonomy, efforts that can only be backed with individual efforts and local developmental initiatives springing forth.
A brief summary of the book’s content was presented by the head of the Communication Division in the Ministry of Defence, Navy Captain Atonfack Nguemo Cyrille Serge while the Preface was done by Political Scientist and Professor, Owona Nguini.
Emile Joel BAMKOUI announces the 3rd book in the days ahead where he tackles the Boko Haram insurgency not as a Jihadist movement but as a political weapon geared at a destabilization plan of targeted countries of the African continent.
