The women’s final, launched by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, saw FAP face Tonnerre Kalara Club (TKC). FAP established an early advantage, leading 16 to 10 at half-time, before maintaining their momentum to secure a 28 to 21 victory.

The triumph marked another successful outing for Coach Relick Backer’s side, who defeated the same opponents in last year’s final. Speaking afterwards, the coach welcomed the result while stressing the need for continued hard work and preparation for future challenges.

The men’s final provided an equally gripping contest between FAP and Renaissance Stars. Despite FAP receiving a red card, the team held a narrow 13 to 12 lead at the break and eventually prevailed 25 to 24 after a fiercely contested encounter.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of medals and trophies to the finalists and champions, as FAP celebrated a memorable double triumph on Cameroon’s handball stage.
