FIRE FIGHTERS UNITE IN GRATITUDE AND REMEMBRANCE
The Commander of the National Fire Fighters Corps, Brigadier General Mahamat Ahmed Kotoko, shared a common meal with his personnel at the Command Post in Warda on Friday May 23, 2025.

The occasion was marked by a moment of solemnity as the corps paid tribute to the late Deputy Commander, Professor Colonel Francis Ekosso Lysonge, who passed away on May 18, 2025. A minute of silence was observed in his honour.

The Commander of the Corps, Brigadier General Mahamat Ahmed Kotoko expressed gratitude to the personnel for their outstanding performance during the 53rd National Day celebrations, particularly during the military parade at the May 20 Boulevard.

Despite the somber occasion, the event was filled with moments of communion, as the Commander shared a meal with his troops, shook hands, and took souvenir pictures with them.

This moment of camaraderie highlighted the strong bond that exist within the corps and the Commander’s appreciation for their hard work and commitment. The event concluded on a note of gratitude, reinforcing the fire fighters’ esprit de corps and their unwavering dedication in the protection of persons and their property.
