Free medical consultation campaign from April 14 to 18, 2025 at the 2nd Joint Military Regional Hospital in Bonanjo.
The 2nd Joint Military Regional Hospital headed by ophthalmologist surgeon, Dr Colonel Koki Godefroy, has organized a free medical consultation campaign which will run from April 14 to 18, 2025 as well as a scientific day of military medicine on April 19, 2025 at the hospital premises in Bonanjo.

This free consultation campaign which has over the years become normalcy for the population of Douala and its environs comes to alleviate the cost of medical care which goes a long way to demonstrate the commitment of the Defense Forces to the well-being of the population, thereby aligning with their efforts to strengthen the Army and the Nation bond.

Speaking to some patients who answered present for free medical consultations, they unanimously affirmed the warm reception and conviviality they have been receiving from the health care workers since the 14th of this month and wish that this activity continues in the future because according to them health is wealth.

In guise of a gift, prior to the upcoming National day commemoration, during the entire month of May, the 2nd Joint Military Regional Hospital is equally offering a 50 percent discount for laboratory tests, surgeries and other hospital charges for all those who will partake in this five-day free consultation campaign while some surgeries in ophthalmology will be carried out at no cost.

It is worth recalling that, the first phase of this civilo-military activity was a football match organized between medical personnel of the Douala military hospital and their Laquintinie hospital counterparts at the football field of the Command Post of the 2nd Joint Military Region on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
