“Love and care: Spouses of Generals support wounded soldiers˝
The Association of Spouses of Generals of the Cameroon Defence Forces brought joy to wounded soldiers at the Douala Military Hospital, HMRN02, on Friday, December 27, 2024.

Led by Madame Ayingono Mevoulou Denise epse Semengue, the group visited the hospital not just as wives of generals, but also as mothers, to boost the morale of the soldiers recovering from battlefield trauma.

The association donated medical items and food supplies, recognizing that nutrition is essential for recovery. Speaking during the handing over ceremony madame Semengue, president of the more than 20 years old association emphasized on the importance of giving, especially to those in need. This gesture is part of the association’s ongoing efforts to support military personnel, having previously made similar donations in Yaounde in 2022 and Maroua in 2023.

Professor Colonel Koki Godefroy, Director of the Douala Military Hospital, on behalf of his entire staff and the wounded soldiers expressed gratitude to the association and promised to utilize the donations wisely.
