Presided over by the Director General of ONACAM, retired Colonel Alfred Fuller, the ceremony that brought together children of ages one to sixteen, was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the children who were dressed in the season’s colours, red and white.
The children who among other activities participated in dance and chair competitions, received Christmas gifts from the hands of the Director General of ONACAM, his deputy and head of the general affairs service and other dignitaries.
‘The Christmas Tree we celebrate today is just the manifestation of love, conviviality and sharing that exist among us. This day gives us the opportunity to spend unforgettable moments with our dear ones that you are, especially with our children who on one faithful day became orphans,’ said the Director General.
He thanked the Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Galax Yves ETOGA LANDRY and the ONACAM partners like the SCODIS Association for their support that permits them to better organize this year’s edition
