THE COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE WELCOMES ITS NEW COMMANDER

The Commander of Military Schools and Training Centers, Major General Phillipe Mpay, on August 25, 2025 presided over the installation ceremony of Colonel Samnick Herve Berenger as the new commander of the Command and Staff College in the courtyard of the Combined Services Military Academy, (EMIA),

In a ceremony that was attended by Military and Civilian authorities, the newly installed Colonel took over leadership of the Command and Staff College following a declaration conferring power to him by Major General Philip Mpay.

“I want to express my gratitude to my hierarchy for the confidence they have in me to lead the Command and Staff College. I have the competence and I will do my best to prepare the Officers for the second level”, Said Colonel Samnick.

His appointment comes after Presidential Decree No 2025/400 of August 12, he formerly occupied the post of technical adviser to the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of Defence, Beti Assomo Joseph.
