“Securing the Exclusive Economic Zone”
Deployed as part of the mission to secure the Exclusive Economic Zone, the Coastal Patrol Vessel CNS GRAND BATANGA boarded this Monday, February 19, 2024 off the coast of IDENAU, a pirogue from a neighboring country and bound for LIMBE, carrying 90 drums of 250 liters or about 22,500 liters of smuggled fuel and a crew of 05 people without identity documents.

Boat and cargo were placed at the disposal of the Commander of the Naval Base for routine consultations with the competent authorities.
