” Defence and security forces open days- 2024 Edition ”
On the occasion of the Defence and Security Forces Open Days, alongside the festivities to commemorate the 52nd National Day, the Cameroon Navy, together with the other components of the Armed Forces, opened its doors to the general public from 17 to 19 May 2024, at the Yaounde 101 Air Base.

Through its three flagship themes: Naval and Land Operations, Law Enforcement at Sea, and Naval Maintenance, visitors were drilled on the various operational commitments and its contribution to the country’s economic development, largely dependent on the proper maintenance of its ships and the efficient training of its personnel.

The high point of this event was the visit to the various stands by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, on 19 May 2024 at 10 a.m., a few hours before the 5 p.m. closing time.
