Rear-Admiral MENDOUA Jean, Chief of the Navy Staff, surrounded by his close collaborators, received in audience this Tuesday 03 September 2024 at the conference room of the Naval Staff, a delegation of the European Union led by Mr Philippe LAFOSSE, Head of the Political Section at the Embassy of the European Union in Cameroon.

Discussions between the two parties focused mainly on the arrangements for the transfer of the YARIS (Yaoundé Architecture Regional Information System) maritime surveillance software by the European Union to the Cameroon Navy, via the Yaoundé-based Interregional Coordination Centre (C.I.C).
