OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE CHIEF OF THE MARINE STAFF TO THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN
From 20 to 22 January 2024, Rear-Admiral MENDOUA Jean, Chief of the Naval Staff, made an official visit to Spain at the invitation of his Spanish counterpart.

During their meeting, the two Chiefs of Navy discussed the implementation of the technical cooperation agreement between Cameroon and Spain in the field of maritime security, signed in January 2024 by the Ministers of Defence of the 2 countries.

During his stay, the Chief of Staff of the Navy was received in audience successively by the Ambassador of Cameroon in Spain and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs. He also had working sessions with various personalities involved in cooperation with Cameroon, including the Spanish Director General of Defence Policy, the Head of the Guardia Civil Air Service, and the Director General of the Ibero-American International Foundation for Public Policy (FIIAPP).
