MINDEF LAUNCHES EMIA RECRUITMENT PROCESS WITH CALL FOR TRANSPARENCY AND OBJECTIVITY
The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Beti Assomo Joseph, on November 25,2025 officially launched the preliminary medical and sports exercises for the 2025 EMIA recruitment at the Yaounde Military Stadium.

During his visit, the Minister inspected the various workshops set up for the recruitment process, including identification and orientation, medical examinations and sports exercises. He was accompanied on a guided tour of the facilities by his close collaborators as well as the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Military Health and the Director of Sports, Cultural and Artistic Affairs, where he witnessed the rigorous tests that the recruits have been undergoing since yesterday.

Addressing the different heads of workshops, the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Beti Assomo Joseph emphasized the importance of objectivity, transparency, and aptitude in the selection process. Beti Assomo Joseph, also announced the introduction of a psychotechnical test as an innovation for the recruitment process of the 42nd batch of EMIA, aimed at ensuring the most suitable candidates are selected for the prestigious military academy.

At the end of his visit, the Minister Delegate, expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for the recruitment process, praising the efforts of the recruitment team led by Colonel Doctor Ntyo’o Nkoumou. The launch of the recruitment process has galvanized the recruits, who are eager to test their bravery in the selection process so as to be counted amongst the 200 candidates to be selected.
