Marking the 10th anniversary celebration, the batch engaged in a series of activities which kick started with a sports work accompanied by the 40th batch of the Combined Arms Military Academy which grinded to a halt at the Presidential Guard Sports Complex in the neighborhood of Obili.

To kick start the celebration, the 36th batch clashed with the 40th batch in a football tournament in the presence of a special guest, Colonel Zanga Zambo, Head of the Bureau in charge of Fuel of the National Gendarmerie and the Army. To set the ball rolling, Colonel Zanga Zambo accompanied by orphans of the fallen batch mates set the pace for the celebration to begin. The football encounter which was a clash of the titans, ended up in a 2 to 1 score in favour of the 36th batch.

In order to accompany the celebration, the military health was deployed to the scene of action wherein soldiers voluntarily donated blood in order to swell the blood bank as they consider health worth more than gold.

Speaking during the solemn event, the president of the batch, Captain Kitio Victor took the rostrum to thank those who honored the invitation which was an opportunity for them to demonstrate their gratitude to the high command for this historic anniversary to see the light of day. He called for a minute of silence for their departed comrades who gave up the ghost in different theatres of operations. He reiterated the concern the batch has for the up keep of orphans of fallen comrades, that with the assistance of the high command they will continue to support the orphans of the state.

Captain Kitio Victor situated the context of celebrating their 10th anniversary under the flag geared at strengthening military brotherhood which aims to reaffirm the initial commitment of this batch to support the transmission of military traditions from generation to generation.

The celebrative event will continue on Tuesday December 9, 2025 with an ecunomical service at Ardent Chapel at the Headquarters Brigade for more blessings as they take the baton to serve the nation with honnour and loyalty.
