Received at the Exhibition site and being presented the different components of the defence forces showcasing their knowhow by the head of the Communication Division of the Ministry of Defence, Navy Captain Atonfack Guemo Cyrille Serge, representatives of each detachment at the Yaounde Conference center had the opportunity to sell their service through the various activities carried out for the benefit of the defence forces and the Cameroonian people.

A major innovation this 10th edition of PROMOTE was the presence of the stand of the one-year-old Ultra-Modern Central Tailoring Workshop for the Armed Forces and the Gendarmerie having braved the challenge last May 20 Unity Day celebration through the production of military uniforms for soldiers that in the past were imported from foreign suppliers.

The Military engineering corps as an actor of development and that component of the armed forces which ensures the construction of military installations used the opportunity to reiterate their ever presence in assisting the government to achieve its social responsibility towards its citizens by tarring roads, building schools, leisure grounds and more which has enormously contributed to the beauty that characterizes most of our cities today.

Also present this year was the Directorate of the Human resource, the elites corps of the Defence Staff, the National Gendarmerie, the Air Force, the Navy, the Operational Health Division and the National Fire fighter’s Corps which has since the start of the year recorded a total of 1964 interventions all over the country.

In an economic atmosphere where enterprises and business structures promote their products, the Ministry of Defence presents the aspects of security and peace as indispensable tools for the stability of every country which contributes in providing favorable atmospheres for investment without fear of losing the colossal amounts of money invested in private enterprises or parastatals.
