Administrative cooperation: MINREX delegation on a working visit to MINDEF
A delegation from the Ministry of Externel Relation headed by Jean-Patrice Koe Jr, Director of Communication, Documentation and Diplomatic Archives paid a working visit to the Communication Division of the Ministry of Defence on Wednesday November 15, 2023.

While welcoming the delegation at the Conference Hall of the Communication Division in the Ministry of Defence, the Head of the Communication Division in the Ministry of Defence, Navy Captain Cyrille Serge Atonfack Guemo acknowledged the presence of the delegation and applauded the initiative by the two ministers for facilitating the come together in order for their communication departments to share their wealth of experience geared towards a perfect visibility on their actions and activities.

Speaking during the working visit, the two communication bosses presented their structures, challenges encountered and seek ways to step-up their communication strategy so as to have a better exposure.

On his part Navy Captain Cyrille Serge Atonfack Guemo said, communication within institutions has become very delicate to handle most especially in the advent of the social media. Thus, in this respect, certain measures need to be put in place so as to convey messages without stepping on one’s toes. He made mention of institutional, defence, promotion and crises communication which are the key in managing information within the Ministry of Defence.

The Director of Communication, Documentation and Diplomatic Archives, Jean-Patrice Koe Jr, thanked the Head of the Communication Division of the Ministry of Defence for sharing the wealth of experience while calling on the  two structures to work in perfect synergy in order to accompany their ministries in the communication goal for the good of the Nation.
