EMIA Cadet Officers Outplay Trainee Superintendents of Police in a Football Friendly
Cadet officers of the Combined Services Military Academy EMIA, played against student Superintendents of the National Advanced Police School in a football friendly on November 2, 2024.

The football encounter that took place at the Military stadium in commemoration of the ‘‘Cadet Officers’ Week’’ ended four goals to one in favour of the EMIA team, with the two Commanders of the prestigious Military and Police schools coaching and cheering their twelve players from the tribune.

The 39th batch of EMIA, baptized ‘‘Unity and Patriotism’’ made a major comeback within the second half to equalize the lone goal scored by Cadet Superintendent Nsing Robert barely 15 minutes into the first half and then added three other goals to maintain a win till the end of the game.

In a solidarity gesture of exchange of gifts, the two commanders of both the military and police schools, Colonel Roger Nang Zengue and Police Commissioner Tang Enow Lawrence Oben respectively, praised the synergy that reigns between the two institutions and later handed over individual and collective prizes to distinguished athletes and the wining team. Cadet superintendent Nsing Robert went home with the Man of the match award.

The activities of the ‘‘Cadet Officers’ Week’’ of EMIA will continue on November 3,2024 with a visit to an orphanage where they are to hand gifts to the children there.
