FINAL REHEARSAL LIGHTS UP 20th MAY BOULEVARD
On May 18, 2026, the 20th May Boulevard came alive as Cameroon held the grand final rehearsal ahead of the 54th National Unity Day celebrations.

The rehearsal brought together the Cameroonian Defence and Security Forces, the Penitentiary Administration, Customs, civilian groups as well as impressive fly-past, mounted and motorised parade displays.

‎Under the command of Brigadier General Chembou Zambou Guy Merlin, troops showcased discipline, precision and professionalism before top state officials and military authorities.

‎The event also featured the Chadian delegation, the “National and Nomadic Guard of Chad,” led by Major Djim Doum Ngar Radet, highlighting the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between Cameroon and Chad.

‎As the nation counts down to May 20, the spirit of unity, patriotism and national pride is already shining across the country.
