The Special National Commission for the recruitment of 2000 elite commandos of the Presidential Guard and the Rapid Intervention Battalion 2023, began the seventh stage of its journey on Friday November 17, 2023, to pre-select candidates from the Littoral and South-West administrative regions, at the Second Military Engineering Regiment camp in Nyalla, Douala.

Candidates from the South-West follow those from the Littoral, who were received in the early afternoon of Friday November 17, 2023.

Latecomers from both regions were identified on Saturday November 18, 2023.

The medical sub-committee has begun the preliminary medical examinations.

Candidates will be informed of the results of this first stage of recruitment on Sunday November 19, 2023, which will be synonymous with authorization to take part in the physical tests scheduled for Monday November 20, 2023 from 06:00.
