The recruitment of 2000 candidates for the benefit of the Presidential Guard and the Rapid Intervention Battalion
After the Adamawa Region for the recruitment of 2000 candidates for the benefit of the Presidential Guard and the Rapid Intervention Battalion, the Special Recruitment Commission settles in the East Region for a similar exercise.
The esplanade of the Command Post of the 2nd Rapid Intervention Battalion in Letta was stormed by more than a thousand candidates seeking enrolment into the Cameroon Defence Forces.
Aged between 18 and 23, the youths of the East Region filed pass the special recruitment commission on Monday November 13, 2023 at 8am. It kicked off with the identification procedure enabling them to check the affiliations of the candidates and registrations on the corresponding lists. Thus giving them access before the Health Sub-Commission for the preliminary medical examinations where accent was placed on visual acuity to hearing and blood pressure, in an atmosphere of justice, fairness and transparency.
The candidates were called to report the next day for those to be selected for the next exercise under supervision of Colonel MINGA IVAHA Wilfried, Deputy in charge of Operations Monitoring.
