The operation resulted in the arrest of 78 individuals suspected of various offences. 23 motorbikes and a tricycle with no supporting particulars, hundreds of tramadol packs and its derivatives, half a bag of Indian hemp and packets of same drug, as well as a machete, were equally seized.

The suspects arrested are currently being interrogated at the Bakoko Gendarmerie Brigade.

It is worth noting that raids are stepped up across the town for security purposes.
