This operation led to the arrest of two individuals, namely a 17 year old secondary school student and a 26 year old university student, who were caught red handed preparing a robbery.
During their arrest, these suspects were in possession of an 7.65 MM MAB BREVET-SDGD model D automatic pistol with an empty french made magazine.
The first suspect is an habitual offender. He is suspected to have robbed an Orange Money kiosk on 10 December 2024 at Caramba in Nkolbisson and made away with 5 millions CFA F.
Both individuals will be referred to court in the coming days in order to be held accountable.
Investigation is going on with a view to arresting the other gang members.
