The National Gendarmerie, alongside other Forces, took part in the military parade, through its foot and motorized troops.
The foot parade had three squares: the womenโs square, the law and enforcement square and the Multipurpose Intervention Regiment of the National Gendarmerie (GPIGN) square. These squares reaffirmed the incorporation of the gender perspective into the National Gendarmerie; its position as a domestic security force and its role among the Defense forces with counterterrorism missions that are conducted by the Multipurpose Intervention Regiment of the National Gendarmerie GPIGN
The troops were headed by Lieutenant-Colonel BAMUH MULUH Emmanuel, commander of the Mobile Gendarmerie Group of Squadrons No. 1 in Yaounde.
The motorized parade gave an opportunity to get a picture of the logistical means of the National Gendarmerie.
This parade consisted of motorbikes, Land Cruiser operational vehicles, truck vehicles used for the transportation of troops: a Command Car: a ZBV scanner vehicle used during highway search operations, as well as 70 seater transport buses.
The main innovation in this yearโs National Day were the BJ Land Cruiser vehicles that are used by the Health Service of the National Gendarmerie.
The motorised parade of the National Gendarmerie was led by Lieutenant-Colonel MBOUPDA MOYO Achille, Deputy Director of the Technical and Logistics Department
