End of year festivities in Yaoundé: Tsinga Gendarmerie Brigade nabs four youg assaulters
On the night of 23 December 2024, at about half past midnight, a gang of four individuals who had erected a barrier at a place called Immeuble Macabo, was assaulting and robbing citizens living in Nkomkana.

While returning from “YAFE”, a group of young people were targeted by these criminals, who took their phones, jewellery, money and many other valuables.

Informed, elements on patrol of the Tsinga Gendarmerie Brigade immediately rushed to the scene and succeded to arrest these young criminals armed with knives.

It must be stressed that these fear-inducing criminals aged between 17 and 25 are students during the day, but at night, they become criminals.

The young criminals were referred to competent courts on 31 December 2024 in order to be held accountable.

The National Gendarmerie is committed to curbing down juvenile delinquency to its lowest level.
