After congratulating the superior officer on the renewed confidence placed in him by his high command, the Inspector No.1 outlined his new duties, which include ensuring effective and high-quality hierarchical control as well as respect for the ethics and values specific to the National Gendarmerie.
The representative of the SED/CGN also informed him that the hierarchy expects him to provide unbiased, precise and objective analyses and reports on how gendarmes carry out their assigned duties, as well as evaluations of their performances. The new appointee is also expected to demonstrate unfailing commitment, to combine professional integrity, diligence, objectivity and attention to details un conformity with the law.
Colonel DJATCHOU Hilaire acknowledged that the new Inspector has the capacities required to meet these challenges, given his rich professional career and his background in the Command of Territorial and Mobile Units.
Prior to his promotion, Colonel BIKELE Pierre Aimé was Commander of the Littoral Gendarmerie Legion, a post he held for 5 years.
This modest and rich ceremony filled with emotion, ended with a family photo.
