Parade ceremony presided over by Brigadier General TOUNGUE Elias, Commander of the First Gendarmerie Region
On March 18, 2025, at 7:30 a.m., Brigadier General TOUNGUE ELIAS, Commander of the First Gendarmerie Region-RG1, presided over the traditional parade ceremony at the RG1 courtyard.

The event was attended by Colonel AMBOAKWE GAIUS, Deputy Commander of the First Gendarmerie Region; Colonel NGUELE, Commander of the Centre Gendarmerie Legion; Lieutenant-Colonel NDONGO, Commander of the Territorial Gendarmerie Regiment; Lieutenant-Colonel BAMUH, Commander of Mobile Squadron Group No. 1; and all Regional Staff.

Following the welcome address, the review of troops, and the flag-raising ceremony, Brigadier General TOUNGUE ELIAS congratulated the newly assigned personnel to the First Gendarmerie Region, including Colonel NGUELE (Centre Gendarmerie Legion commander). He then instructed all Unit Commanders to ensure the prompt and proper posting of transferred personnel, in accordance with regulations and the instructions of the SED/CGN.

In his address, the Brigadier General emphasized the following key recommendations for his personnel:

-Maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

-Adhere strictly to regulations.

-Ensure the proper maintenance of service buildings.

In addition, he reminded female personnel to comply with professional rules and regulations, particularly regarding hairstyle and attire.

After the ceremony, Brigadier General TOUNGUE ELIAS hosted a breakfast for his guests, followed by a training session presented by the Technical and Support Service. The session included a review of key events from February 19 to March 18, 2025, and a presentation on vehicle maintenance.

The briefing concluded at approximately 10:05 a.m. without any incident.
