Fight against criminality and organized banditry: The KONDENGUI Gendarmerie Brigade nabs five criminals
Following complaints by the population that was victim of assaults on a daily basis, five individuals were nabbed by elements of the Kondengui Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade on December 03, 2024, precisely at a place called “Derrière Prison”.

The raid carried out by elements of this Unit led to the arrest of Djibrile Abdel Yaya, Kameni Calvin, Fika Daniel, Bengono Freddy and Owona Fouda, who were caught red-handed selling and smoking Indian hemp.

Consequently, Gendarmes were able to seize a large quantity of unpackaged Indian hemp, the sum of 103,000 CFA F in small notes, and several packaging materials.

Investigation is ongoing in this Unit with a view to presenting the case to court.
